East Rockingham Responds to Priority 2 MVC
DECEMBER 30
- Members of the East Rockingham Fire Department responded to a priority 2 MVC Friday morning around 0800 hrs. Upon arrival one vehicle had collided with a house after a collision with another vehicle. The accident occurred at the intersection of Easton Drive and Highway 1 South. Outside Fire Turns Into Structure Fire
DECEMBER 12
- What was paged out as an outside fire turned into and outside building late Monday night for East Rockingham. The first call to the Emergency Communications Center was a report of an outside fire in a wooded area off of Mill Road. Upon arrival it was discovered that there was a structure involved as well as the woods. The structure was well involved and a defense mode was setup to protect the surroundings. ... East Rockingham Responds to Roll Over on Lakeview Trail
DECEMBER 11
- East Rockingham was dispatched to MVA with a rollover on Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival on the scene members observed that the occupant had been ejected from the vehicle. Richmond EMS personnel notified E Com that the chopper would be needed to transport the patient. There would be a landing zone setup at the airport. East Rockingham Answers Vehicle Fire Call on Bellevue Drive
DECEMBER 09
- On a clear night with a full moon shining bright the East Rockingham few responded to a vehicle fire off of Mizpah Road on Bellevue Drive. Upon arrival the vehicle was fully involved and structures were exposed. The fire was contained to the vehicle with a considerable amount of foam being used to extinguish the flames. NOVEMBER 19
- It was a cold morning for the Chief and his men to respond to Grant Street where they found a faulty wood stove as the source of a structure fire. It was tuff for the men to battle the fire and below freezing temperatures to extinguish the fire with medium damage to the one story dwelling on Grant Street. NOVEMBER 04
- East Rockingham responded to a MVA Friday afternoon around 1:00 pm. Upon arrival the units were faced with one vehicle involved with a utility pole. There was one occupant in the vehicle. Fire Prevention at East Rockingham Elementary

- The students at East Rockingham Elementary were treated to their annual Fire Prevention Program by the East Rockingham Fire Department on Thursday afternoo. The members also brought along their mascot Blaze to visit with the students. He was a hit with all those in attendance.
