East Rockingham has Third Structure Fire on Same Street in Four Months !

Second Street on the Safie Mill Village has been the Hot Spot in the ERFD Fire District. The Department answered it's third call in less than four months on Saturday. Upon arrival flames were coming from the rear of the structure. A spokesman for the department said that when the call was given there was thought to be someone still in the structure. Wednesday morning the East Rockingham Fire Department responded tp a camper fire on property located at 3rd Avenue in the Aleo Mill Village. Upon arrival there was smoke and fire in the camper. On Monday afternoon East Rockingham & Cordova Fire Departments were dispatched to a single vehicle MVA on Sandhill Road in the East Rockingham Fire District. Upon arrival it was discovered that the only occupant in the vehicle had been ejected from the vehicle with none life threatening injuries. Many times the alarm sounds for Cascade Industries, but Sunday afternoon it was not to be just a simple call. As the City of Rockingham received the alarm smoke was visable as the first truck left Station One. The all call was sounded and that meant that there was a working fire.
