Structure Fire - 395 Brandon Road

Just after Midnight sounds of a Federal "Q" could be heard coming down Airport Road as East Rockingham was dispatched to a structure fire at 395 Brandon Road. Upon arrival the structure was declared fulling involved. As the first units marked on the scene it was definite that this was going to be a defensive mode situation. MVA - Vehicle Versus Pole - 189 3rd Street Aleo

At 1905 hours East Rockingham Fire Department was dispatched to a MVA on 3rd Street Aleo. Upon arrival it was discovered that the vehicle had lost control and collected a power pole while making a turn. The vehicle had one occupant and he was transported to the hospital by First Health Richmond EMS. The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.... (Full Story & Photos) |

East Rockingham Fire was dispatched to a single MVA around 1944 hours at the southern end of Lockhaven Road. Upon arrival it was found that the vehicle had hit at lease three trees before coming to a stop on the left side of the road. If you are in the fire service or if fire just excites you, Rockingham North Carolina was the place for you to be on Saturday April 12th. Chief Churck Garner and his staff invited all deparments in Richmond County to participate in the live burn at the corner of Biltmore Drive and Highway 74. Members from East Rockingham,Northside,Mt. Around 2209 hours East Rockingham was dispatched to a possible vehicle fire on Mill Road. Upon arrival the vehicle was fully involved. The fire was contained to the engine area.
