East Rockingham & Cordova Respond to Serious MVA on Highway 74 By-Pass

There was two very lucky occupants in the vehicle that overturned on the By - Pass Tuesday morning in Richmond County. When units arriving on the scene saw these men walking around their vehicle there was a sense of relief. With a guardrail that looked like a war zone and a vehicle with a trailer that who only knows the direction it had traveled they were very lucky. The By-Pass was passable with on one lane for almost two hours. Traffic was totaly blocked while wreckers tried to figure how the best way to get the vehicle and its load recovered. North Carolina DOT as well as the North Carolina Highway Patrol assisted the Fire Departments with Traffic.
